Internships
WISIMCO actively recruits for the Summer Analyst Intern Program. Every fall, WISIMCO investment staff host “lunch and learn” office events to welcome interested students into the office to learn more about the internship and the day-to-day work of endowment investing. The summer analyst role is a full-time, eight-week summer training program working directly with the chief investment officer and investment staff. The internship experience offers a unique opportunity to learn about various asset classes and investment opportunities, while supporting UW–Madison. Summer analysts will participate in investment manager meetings; assist in the underwriting of co-investment opportunities; and complete research on various economic, investment, and technology projects. The position requires initiative, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Summer Analyst Intern Program serves as the primary source for the full-time Investment Analyst Program.
The internship program is currently closed. Please check back when the program reopens fall of 2025.
